Katherine Carter is a Research Assistant at the Fund for Peace. Since joining the Fund for Peace in 2013, she has worked on the Conflict Early Warning and Assessment Program. An Australian-American, she completed her B.A. in History and Film Studies at the University of Virginia in 2012 and studied abroad in Lima, Peru. She intends to pursue a M.A. in Conflict Resolution or International Development in the next few years, focusing on international human rights law. Prior to joining the Fund for Peace, Katherine worked as a legal assistant at a criminal and civil trial law firm in Virginia, and interned at the Australian War Memorial and Australian National Library in Canberra, Australia.
