Lauren Jesch is a senior at the Ohio State University pursuing her B.A. in Political Science with a specialization in Cooperation, Conflict, and Violence and a minor in Nonprofit Studies. She is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Fund for Peace through the John Glenn Policy Fellowship program at her university. Throughout her time in undergraduate studies, she gained international development experience studying human trafficking, refugee resettlement, and genocide in India, Morocco, and Rwanda. Before joining the Fund for Peace, Lauren interned for US Together Inc. resettlement agency and the International Rescue Committee, as well as doing data analysis on child recruitment into conflict through another research position. Lauren has a deep interest in sustainable peace and humanitarian efforts throughout the world, and is excited to promote practical solutions and approaches for conflict mitigation at The Fund for Peace.
